Pork in a jar in the oven

Earlier, we have already published a recipe for barbecue cooked in a jar in the oven. However, pork in a jar according to this recipe turns out to be tastier.
This is not a barbecue, although the pickling in these recipes is made with the same ingredients.

 700 g Pork
 1 Onion
 Ground red pepper
 Ground black pepper
 8 Potatoes
 100 g Cheese
 Salt to taste
Have at hand
 Glass jar - 1 liter
 Foil

We used the upper part of a pork thigh, although we recommend using the neck or ribs.

Cut the pork into small pieces, as shown in the photo.

Season with pepper and salt.

Cut the onions into half rings.

Fill a 1 liter dry glass jar tightly with onions and pork.

Use the foil to seal the mouth of the can as shown in the picture.

Peel 6-8 medium-sized potatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
Cut in half and place a layer of cheese between the halves.

Wrap the potatoes with cheese in foil.
Place a jar of pork in the middle of the baking sheet, and around the potatoes in foil.
Place the baking sheet in a cold oven.
The oven must be absolutely cold so that the jar of meat does not crack.

Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 180 degrees.
In time for a one-liter can, 70 minutes is enough.

After this time, turn off the oven, but do not open the door yet so that the can does not burst.
Wait 5-10 minutes, then remove the baking sheet with potatoes and pork from the oven.

Although the color of the pork is not so appetizing, the taste is excellent.
