Soup cooked without adding meat or smoked meats can be safely called dietary, since peas contain practically no fat and are an excellent source of protein and easily digestible carbohydrates.


But still, if you want to please your beloved gluttons, you should still try to make pea puree soup with smoked ribs. Let the calorie content of such a soup be about 130 kcal per 100 grams, but you can guarantee that there will be no dissatisfied and hungry at the table.



How to make smoked pea puree soup

Step 1

Rinse the peas thoroughly in running water. Ideally, you need to soak it overnight, but if time is running out, then you can do without it.


Step 2

Wash the ribs and cook in boiling water for about 40 minutes, remembering to remove the resulting foam with a slotted spoon.
Remove bare bones from meat broth.


Step 3

When the broth is ready, add the peas to the pot. If the peas have been soaked, then you need to cook for a very short time - about 15 minutes. If the peas are dry, then the cooking time increases. The peas should "creep away".


Step 4

While the peas are boiling, peel and finely chop the carrots and onions. Saute vegetables in hot oil until golden brown. Cut the potatoes into small cubes.


Step 5

Add vegetables to a saucepan and cook until the potatoes are tender.


Step 6

Serve hot; decorate the soup with sprigs of herbs on top.
