Today I offer you an unusual recipe for a homemade strong drink. This drink is alcoholic and very strong, and is called - horseradish.

Horseradish is an alcoholic tincture on horseradish root.

This tincture has been known since ancient times in ancient Russia. Nowadays, homemade horseradish is also popular among the people, in themed Cossack restaurants. Some establishments have their own personal recipe for this strong liqueur.

Horseradish with honey is a healthy drink that helps with colds, and also improves digestion if there is a plentiful fatty snack on the table.

Homemade horseradish with honey can be cooked with moonshine, vodka and alcohol, you can also add cloves, ginger and other spicy pungent herbs to taste. The main thing is not to abuse and know when to stop!

Cooking homemade horseradish with honey

Step 1

Horseradish peel and finely chop, you can grate, but then the tincture will turn out to be "nuclear" due to the extracted juice.

We take a container – a jar, put horseradish, pepper and honey in it. Pour half the norm with vodka, mix well and top up with the remaining vodka.

Leave the horseradish to infuse

Leave the horseradish to infuse for 3–4 days, shaking from time to time.

Then strain through cheesecloth or a fine sieve
