How to cook dried fruit compote at home

Step 1

Cook for 25-30 minutes.

Step 4

In order not to make the compote too sweet or vice versa, sugar should be added at the end of cooking, when the main taste and sweetness from dried fruits are completely transferred to water. In any case, sugar is added to taste, as anyone loves.
For 5 liters of compote, we added half a glass of sugar. In order not to make a mistake, add sugar with spoons and mix and check the taste after each spoon.

Step 5

ready-made compote

After adding sugar, cook for another 5 minutes. Then remove from the fire, and it is better to turn off the fire so as not to burn))). If you decide to add spices, add and close the pan with a lid.
Under a closed lid, dried fruit compote should be infused for at least 30-40 minutes.
To get a transparent compote, it must be filtered. You can not filter and use, both hot in circles and in cold form.
